About this magazine
To accompany the exhibition ‘Glamour and History. 40 Years of P1’, three magazines are published. This issue is all about design. Andrea Lissoni, the artistic director of Haus der Kunst, interviewd the architect Matteo Thun, who redesigned the club in the 2000s and shaped a new era with his minimalist design. A concept that was intended to create “no design traces, no zeitgeist, no disruptive factors” and to allow guests to recreate the P1 on a daily basis. The design of the “Glamour and History” exhibition was also inspired by Matteo Thun’s design.
