Since spring 2026, a public garden has been growing on the meadow between Haus der Kunst and the Eisbachwelle. The idea is to create a vibrant place for people to come together, exchange ideas and enjoy themselves, built, shaped and maintained as sustainably as possible.
At Open Garten, you can find out more about the Community Garden Ostwiese project and meet new people, get involved in gardening and, step by step, become part of a community that takes responsibility, establish caring and sustainable spaces, and facilitates mutual learning and unlearning.
Your ideas and feedback go straight into the shaping and planning of the project. Why not just drop by and join in? The Community Garden Ostwiese looks forward to seeing you!
