Long Night of Munich Museums

23,50 € for admission to all participating exhibition houses | Children’s programme: €5 for up to 4 children and one accompanying adult

On 17.10.26, Haus der Kunst will be open from 10 am to 1 am. The Long Night programme begins at 2 pm.

Alongside pioneering video art by the Icelandic artist Steina in our exhibition “Steina: Playback” and treasures from the Eisbach presented in the exhibition “Tao Schirrmacher’s Collection. Eisbach Treasures”, Haus der Kunst is presenting “Tomás Saraceno in collaboration. Ancestral Futures”. Created in close collaboration with Indigenous communities from northern Argentina, the artist’s largest exhibition to date in Germany focuses on eco-social justice and the coexistence and communication between all forms of life.

Accompanying programme (visits possible even without a Long Night ticket)

• 2 – 6 pm: In the Atelier, we’ll be building on the Museo Aero Solar – a giant balloon made from used plastic bags. Feel free to bring along used plastic bags and write your message for greater sustainability on them.
• 6 pm – 11.45 pm: Yállá Táwlá: A participatory art and social gathering event at Haus der Kunst, hosted by cleo. Beside Táwlá (backgammon), music, çay and drinks, we’ll strike up conversations and create a space for informal exchange together.
