Info

For the Long Night of Munich Museums, Haus der Kunst will be open from 6 pm to 1 am.

During the Long Night, the Haus der Kunst is showing the exhibition “For Children. Art Stories since 1968,” which offers a place to linger, discover, and get creative both inside and outside the building. Our new exhibition “Cyprien Gaillard. Wassermusik” is located in the South Gallery and, among other things, establishes a connection to the city of Munich and the Haus der Kunst. At the same time, visitors can discover the installation “Gülbin Ünlü. Nostralgia,” which extends across several parts of the Haus der Kunst.

For Children. Art Stories since 1968
18.7.25 - 1.2.26
The group exhibition unfolds across several areas of the Haus der Kunst, between indoor and outdoor spaces and extending to the terrace facing the Eisbach. Here, visitors of all ages are invited to engage in dialogue with contemporary art and with each other, and to rethink today's understanding of childhood.

Please note that access to some artworks may be limited in time and only possible to a restricted extent. Waiting times are to be expected during busy periods.

Cyprien Gaillard. Wassermusik
17.10.25 – 22.03.26
This exhibition asks how the Haus der Kunst building functions as a monument to its difficult history and how it continually reinvents itself through new works by living artists.

Gülbin Ünlü. Nostralgia
8.5.25 – 22.2.26
The starting point of the installation is the staff entrance of the Haus der Kunst, inviting visitors to explore the building through doors that are inaccessible yet still present. It is an invitation to traverse the institution without a fixed destination and to engage in the act of encountering.

Further information on the Long Night of Munich Museums and tickets will follow soon.
