9. – 11.5.24
Haus der Kunst and Public Possession

For three days, Haus der Kunst and the music label Public Possession invite children, non grown ups, their parents and friends to join a free festival full of art, music and play: MMMHaus – Meet Make Move

A diverse, colourful programme awaits you, with many workshops on music and art, sports activities, a table tennis tournament, interesting walks through the English Garden, communal cooking, as well as a concert and a big party on 10.5.24.

We look forward to seeing you, hearing from you, and connecting, not only with each other but also with local artists who are passionate about their work. Choose from a variety of activities: try screen printing or risography, build your own Bluetooth speaker, get your face painted, and participate in a music workshop. There will be radio, DJ, as well as vocal and instrumental courses. The museum's doors are wide open, with free offerings everywhere in and around the museum, so come and be surprised and have lots of fun.

Below you'll find an overview of the activities and participants. You can find the exact schedule for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday under What's on.

Music Workshops (Archiv Galerie)

with Public Possession & Squama Recordings

Creating sounds, noise, and music is fundamental to human needs. The workshops aim to provide insight into various facets and encourage participation. Please note that all workshops have age recommendations. Since the workshops have a limited number of participants, we recommend arriving early.

Public Possession

Valentino Betz and Marvin Schuhmann founded Public Possession in 2012 out of their shared interest in music, text, graphics, and events. At the core of their work are a music and fashion label, parties and events, as well as regular publications in the print sector. Together with Haus der Kunst, they are organizing MMMHaus.

Squama Recordings

Squama is a record label founded in 2019 in Munich, releasing multifaceted musical and visual objects. Their contemporary approach, combined with more classical musical content, has gained international acclaim.

Print Workshops (Studio & Raum 25)

Workshops for screen printing and risography. Please note that there may be waiting times for these two workshops.

Screen printing (Studio)

The studio offers a screen printing workshop: screen printing is a very expressive, bold technique where graphic motifs, fine drawings, and text can be combined. Bring a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or bag to print your favorite MMMHaus motifs on. You can also purchase blank t-shirts on-site for a small fee.

Riso (Room 25)

Room 25 is all about risography. Riso is not only an incredibly beautiful but also one of the most environmentally friendly printing methods. It brings a lot of joy. Experience the machine in action by producing your own MMMHaus poster.

A walk in the park (Meeting point: Mittelhalle at the mouse)

Following the motto “Walking not only moves the body but also the mind,” you are invited to stroll through the English Garden with interesting people from art and culture. Fresh air and stimulating conversations are guaranteed!

Sound Room (Terrassensaal)

This room will host activities centred around music. Join in or listen! Since the workshops have a limited number of participants, we recommend arriving early.

Outdoor painting (Terrasse)

If the weather is good, you can paint the terrace of Haus der Kunst with Goa colours—or you can sit nearby and watch.

Eat with ... (Studio Raum 2)

At this special location in Studio Room 2, cooking and eating together will take place. Participation is only possible with prior registration.

Playground (Westgalerie)

Fun for everyone: Yoga, Public Possession bouncy castle, and face painting for children.

Ruheraum (Raum 17)

Relax & take a break.
