Info

On this day of action, initiated by the Association of German Archivists, numerous archives open their doors to the public and offer guided tours, among other things. As every year, there is an overarching theme – this time it is “Old home – new home”.

In an open zine workshop, we ask questions about the topic of “home”: together, we consider what we understand by the term ‘home’, work out how home can be defined and how we can archive these findings.

We will discuss the various dimensions of ‘home’ with visitors and participants, as well as with the help of methods such as collage and zine-making.

The Haus der Kunst will also offer three free guided tours, on 12, 2 and 4 pm, of the archive and rooms that are not otherwise open to the public.

The workshop format is “drop-in, drop-out” – this means that you can come by at any time and stay as long as you like.
Advance registration is not required.

The workshop is a cooperation with Die Pastinaken.
