Bureau Borsche presents 20 years of archival works to take home.

The archive gesture “You're Welcome” initiated with Bureau Borsche, whose provocative visual language has reshaped how Haus der Kunst speaks and is seen since 2022, brings almost twenty years of work back into circulation. Over a weekend, one room of the west gallery becomes the site where this unfolds. Posters, magazines, zines, booklets, fragments of visual culture, design, and memory return to presence. They can be picked up, discussed, taken home.

If you are in Munich and care about visual culture, design, and memory, this is where you want to be that weekend. You will meet those who shape how the city sees itself. Conversations unfold across tables and between people who might not usually meet. You get a direct sense of what is emerging and what matters now.

We continue here the line of Super BOOKS and Open Haus. Haus der Kunst is activated as a shared space of encounter, shaped through presence and use. Come by, spend time, and take something with you. A poster, a connection, a new perspective.

This moment connects to key questions in this year’s program. With Tao Schirrmacher’s Archive Gallerie presentation and Maria VMier’s intervention, we are looking at how materials, stories, and practices return to circulation through shared use and experience.

Be part of it. Show up, take part, and help shape what circulates next.
