Info
Do you already have plans for the holidays? Then come and visit us at Haus der Kunst!
During the school holidays, we offer workshops for children aged 8 to 12. Here, you can experiment with artistic techniques, discover what happens behind the scenes in our everyday work, make new friends – and most importantly, have lots of fun.
In this workshop, inspired by the exhibition “Sandra Vásquez de la Horra. Soy Energía”, we will explore the themes and artistic practices of the artist Sandra Vásquez de la Horra. Her diverse body of work – including drawings, paintings, films and performances – tells multilayered stories shaped by her upbringing in Chile and her life in Germany.
The focus of this workshop is animation: we will try out different methods of simple filmmaking – from flipbooks to stop-motion films – and develop our own short moving stories.
The focus is on creative work. Participants will have the opportunity to try out various artistic techniques. At the same time, there will be plenty of room for play, movement, and shared experiences in and around Haus der Kunst.
The workshop takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is offered in German. An English translation can be provided on site. The group size is limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
During these carnival holidays, the holiday workshop will not take place as a continuous event, but as individual workshops each day.
