66. Münchner Bücherschau

Every autumn, the Münchner Bücherschau offers visitors inspiration for excursions into the exciting and varied world of books. Over 18 days and evenings, small and large publishers present over 10.000 novels, cookbooks, travel literature, children's and young adult books, audiobooks, art books, non-fiction, specialist books on all subjects, and calendars at the book exhibition. Everyone is invited to find out about new releases, bestsellers and long-sellers every day from 8 am to 10 pm and browse the publishers' extensive programmes at their leisure.

While Christopher Clark brings history to life, Joana Osman and Mirjam Zadoff advocate optimism in difficult times, futurologist Florence Gaub makes complex scenarios understandable, and Axel Prahl recounts personal experiences and Susanne Abel touches readers with her new novel. Look forward to a romantic fantasy panel, unconventional book recommendations, and astonishing new insights. Get into Christmas spirit with Ewald Arenz and his siblings, as well as at the sing-along evening with the BR choir and Gerald Huber. Young readers will not be disappointed either: new adventures with the Haferhorde, exciting experiments in the Radio Micro Laughter Lab and a reading by actress Jella Haase, who reads Pippi Longstocking, will delight audiences as much as the Literary Youth Quartet and Bernhard Hoëcker with his humorous stories. The Munich Book Show is not a quiet place – it is both a stage and a meeting place, a space for big topics and personal moments.
