On the occasion of the Archive Day, Haus der Kunst is organizing two guided tours on the history and architecture of the building. As part of the event, participants have the opportunity to explore non-public areas such as the Historical Archive and the Historical Boiler Room. Sabine Brantl, Head of the Archive, will lead the tour through the building, providing insights into her work and the development of Haus der Kunst's archive. Using selected documents and materials, the original aesthetic appearance and functional significance of the architecture, as well as the current engagement with the building as a site of contemporary art, will be discussed.
The guided tours will take place on 2.3.24, from 12—1 pm and from 2—3 pm.
Participation is free of charge. Due to the limited number of participants, registration via email at fuehrungen@hausderkunst.de is required.
