Pressemitteilung

Nach drei Jahren der Recherche und Entwicklung präsentiert das Haus der Kunst eine wegweisende Ausstellung als Teil seiner fortlaufenden Neubewertung bislang übersehener Geschichten. In anderen Räumen. Environments von Künstlerinnen 19561976 eröffnet am 8. September 23 und wird bis 10. März 24 zu sehen sein. Die Ausstellung zeigt Werke dreier Generationen von Künstlerinnen aus Asien, Europa sowie Nord- und Südamerika und definiert den etablierten künstlerischen Kanon neu, indem sie die entscheidende Rolle von Frauen bei der Entwicklung immersiver Kunst herausstellt, die einen nachhaltigen Einfluss auf die Bildende Kunst ausgeübt haben.
