Louise Bourgeois peeling an orange

In this video, Louise Bourgeois peels an orange, just as her father once did following a meal. In the Bourgeois family, it was common for every family member to come up with a joke or some other form of entertainment after the meal. On one occasion, Bourgeois's father announced he would make a portrait of his daughter Louise, and began to peel an orange, just as Louise Bourgeois does here.
