Lectures and WorkshopsIn addition to tours of its Historical Archive, Haus der Kunst conducts workshops and presents lectures in which the various aspects of the museum's history as well as the general topic of "the archive” are explored. Developed for children and adolescents, the "Backstage" series takes young visitors to places in the museum not usually open to the public. "Backstage" in the Historical Archive, participants look behind the "set", where they can discover historical documents and objects. With the Historical Archive director, fundamental questions are explored: What is an archive? Why do we have archives? And why do we save documents in the first place? |
