Children at Haus der Kunst

We give children and young people an opportunity to discover how fun it is to be creative. We meet with artists and see their works and allow ourselves to be inspired, while also gathering ideas of our own. This fosters sense-perception and, as part of the artistic process, self-confidence. We visit a current exhibition, stopping at select artworks to speak about our own thoughts and feelings and develop ideas about content and form. Afterwards, our extensive workshops offer lots of space for the shaping of individual ideas and let us explore colors, materials and technical possibilities. We are a well-established team of art instructors and artists. We provide individual supervision for our young visitors according to their age group – during analysis of the artworks as well as during the creative work process.
